Afternoon Andre :)
My heart is broken into a million pieces. This morning about 9:00 AM, I lost my soulmate. He was the light of my life and I will miss him sorely.
John Monroe Ward, born February 13, 1940, lost his short battle with lung cancer today, and went to meet his Lord on November 15, 2018.
There wasn't any pain and he didn't linger . . . he always said, "When it's my time, I want to go quickly." God granted his wish; it was over within an hour; one minute we were talking and the next, he was "asleep". He left the house with a pulse, but by the time he got to the emergency room, there wasn't even that.
When they brought his belongings to me, they handed me his watch that he hadn't worn in several months. I was surprised and wondered why he put it on this morning. My son-in-law put it together; he said Johnny wanted me to know it was time and that was his way of telling me.
As expected, I won't be online much in the coming days and maybe weeks. He didn't want me to grieve, but of course, I can do nothing but.
I'm so sorry for you lost Wynona. Please take care of yourself.
