I have a question if anyone knows.... Does Windows not show the box to type your code/password when woke up/after reboot any more? I have to press a key or click the screen. Not sure if that is some setting I cannot find or if it is the default.
Same here. Think it is default.

I've never had it auto pop-up the signin/PIN box. Restart/Lock/Cold Start.....anytime. Always have to "tickle" it. Security feature, I believe.

You can drag the page up from the bottom and logon appears, might have to disable background...

I have been just pressing a key and then waiting 2-3 seconds then typing the password for a while now. It has been irking me and figured I would ask. Seems as if I have to keep doing that. Thanks guys

You could set to auto-logon for Restart and Cold Start...not Sign-off or Lock. I do that for the wife on her (my) lappy.

The default is to open to the lock screen which you have to dismiss to get to the logon screen unless you disable the lock screen. Enable or Disable Lock Screen in Windows 10

I don't want it to auto login. I just want the password box to show when rebooting and when waking up the screens. I don't let it sleep, rather just turn off the screens.

I just saved the reg files for this. Thank you very much Kado. I thought disabling the lock screen would make it no password Going to test this and reboot. brb
