I hope everyone erased their USB Rescue media before creating new. If not at least one old folder will still be there.

Mine worked fine with the first RE usb I made. But now....... you are making me worry I need to do this. So now I will wipe my usb, remake it and then reboot to test it.

Formatted. Whacked the BCD, also, and re-wrote it.

    Afternoon Ken, AD, and Keith!

I just went in file explorer and permanently deleted everything off it. Then renamed the drive to Macrium RE. It just finished creating. Be back after testing.

Something you may not have noticed. When you go to create rescue, it no longer says the version number of the RE like it did.

All done and works just fine for my PC. Would probably be faster if I pulled a Monica Lewinsky and got under the desk to plug it in(the back usb 3.0 port)

I didn't notice TC. I just made sure wifi was unchecked and it was on RE. Built, tested and put away safely.

I have noticed something over the last few days.... VLC media player is loading up super slow compared to what it used too. I have a feeling the drive with all my backed up videos is starting to slowly die. Gonna have to get that external real soon. I have a complete backup of the drive and have already tested using a file from the mounted image which works fine, so I am not worried too much.

I have a question if anyone knows.... Does Windows not show the box to type your code/password when woke up/after reboot any more? I have to press a key or click the screen. Not sure if that is some setting I cannot find or if it is the default.
