Josey if you go back to 7.1.xxxx then you would be using PE which I think you are using on 7.2. I might not be following this correctly.

I think I would still pursue loading drivers with Macrium's help.

Boss said go home, we are not working in this mess today. Will make it up Saturday.

Thanks for the heads up on WDC TC.
Good morning, Access. You got a lucky break! I have to go out in a bit to feed my chickens. That's gonna be cold!

Morning Mike. Thanks for looking. I challenged Nick on deleting that network folder as part of install. I'll bet users are going to see strange things if it gets left behind. Your clean install route does the job.

They responded on my CD concern and will look at changing message to state space issue and not write error.

I just got the email working in Macrium so I'm not sure I want to wipe.

Saw you made new recuse media, did you erase media first. I learned yesterday it does not do it.

Morning AD. Yes that Superbowl play was a dork. You must have really bad weather for the boss to call it a day.

Josey when I was going back and forth with Macrium they mentioned that they didn't delete the Network folder because someone could have loaded custom drivers. I know your issue is mouse and keyboard. I wonder if they could provide directions for you to manually load the necessary drivers on to USB thumbdrive.
Good morning, Ken. You've been a busy beaver for the last couple of days. I'm glad I just installed the update to Macrium the other day and haven't done anything else. I'll get around to the latest update when I move over to my Production partition.

Josey as Macrium is not seeing your keyboard / mouse using Windows RE would it be a bad assumption that your RE environment won't see them either.

In other words if you boot into Windows Recovery are your keyboard and mouse accessible?

Yes but the backup usb will not boot. Yes 7.1.3317 uses PE but also uses less space. As this stand right now I had to add almost a gig of space to use PE.

Yes if I use the MR that is in the boot menu.

I am back on v 7.1.3317 and everything works and my C:\ drive is now almost 2gB's smaller. I will stay with this till MR or MS fixes as MR is just going to say it is MS's fault anyway.
