Well just tested the latest Macrium build that they sent me, 7.2.3855 and it won't boot from media using PE. Tries and tries the wireless and then just hangs.

I reported, hope they consider before releasing in. Making RE media as I now can't boot Macrium at all using PE on USB or boot media.

I know I'm way off in left field, Ken, but maybe you need to uninstall/reinstall Macrium, then use their patches?

Just to go back, AD has it right in terms that I opened a specific support ticket. That was because PE on a machine with wireless would take a long time to boot.

So far they've sent me three versions, one for a server (???), then one that was supposed to have fix but didn't and this latest one.


There is also another issue that using RE, on certain devices, Macrium builds a boot image that won't fit on an old CD.


Of note they did fix the icon on taskbar issue. They had me go through a strange process to get it to work but the new version straightens that mess out.

Actually all my problems have been recreated by Macrium except task bar. They acknowledge these are issues.

Well, that's good . . . I think . . .

BTW, I haven't made any changes to the PE/RE, and everything seems to be going OK backup wise.

I just did it same result. MR Support says That 1809's WIM is corrupt from MS. They mkay be right. Thanks Wynona.

It works using PE so I am stuck with that til MS gets their act together.

Just got 7.2.3856.
