Occasionally, I'll get a pop-up saying "new_SAS!!!", but it's off and on. Lately, I just let stuff like that go auto with PatchMyPC. Neat little app.
How do you have it set up? just run it nad it shows only half of what SUMO does.

PatchMyPC only handles a limited number of programs but unlike SUMo it does the install from their own servers.

Very similar to Ninite. Plus option to keep the installer (handy) or delete it, plus automatic "Unchecky" stuff". And it's pretty quick! I use both. Patch first cause it's gonna get 90% of the important stuff, and it doesn't run you all over thru options to MG and Sumo (alleged) data base and Google the world.

Yeah, saw that. Very practical for new installations. Also have a log, export etc. Will keep it around. You have it on auto start?

Yes and the range of programs is greater than Ninite. If I create a new Windows VM that is the first program I install and use it to install any programs I need. Well actually it's portable so doesn't require installation.

No...old fashioned. I like to see what's gonna happen first!

And I do like Keith does. Slam-bam for new installs. Just sit back and watch.
