I'm still not explaining, I guess. I go right to get on the roundabout, but just as I'm entering, that's where I have the yield sign. Once I judge it safe (no other cars are anywhere in the roundabout), I proceed. I exit the roundabout on the right to once more go straight.

There is no way to go left, except to "bear left" as I go around, then "bear right" to get off the roundabout.

It sound like your roundabouts are two lane and not large enough at that we have one or two like that in LA I have been on do not like them at all. All the ones we have here are one lane and love them. The two or more lane roundabouts here are Large would cover a football field or two.

Yeppers, Beeman, ya hit the nail on the head! Even my old Ford Crown Vic seems a bit long to go around!

That is correct a yield just before entering the circle as any cars in the circle has right of way and yes there can be more that one car in the circle as lone as you enter before he gets to where you enter the circle then it becomes the car in front of you has right of way.

Even our one lane roundabout are large enough for an 18 wheeler to travel in. Sounds like they were trying to save some money on a too small roundabout or did not have enough land because it is put in after the fact.

Yep, once they took enough frontage off for the roundabouts, all the businesses along there only have a few feet for their customers. Hardly enough space to park. And there's a private school with only enough room for cars and buses to drive through. It must be a real chore to get the kids into the school. I would think it's pretty dangerous too.
