We wouldn't even have 6,000 on it had we not needed to drive to the back surgery doctor 1 1/2 hrs away 7 or 8 times. And the hospital there for 2 visits.
About the only thing I do is go shopping & other errands & that's all in town, the market is 5 mins away.
Morning Wynona, Gracie & Lucy. Hope you & Johnny are doing well.
Well, she's gone & I'm out to do the shopping at least. I'll have to do the rest of the stuff I was going to do morrow morning. (Hopefully)
You all have a good day & take care
What flooding? We had less than our average rainfall last summer. I would have been happy with a little more rain, but it wasn't to be. We live just down the side of the hill from daughter who lives at top of hill. We're elevated quite a ways above flood stage, although I haven't seen any flooding in this area.
The only minor flooding has been on the road where they build those stupid roundabouts. They didn't put in proper drainage, so when we get an extra heavy rain, the brand new road is under water. Sheesh! How stupid can those idjits be!?!?
Speaking of roundabouts . . . they have almost gotten me run over a couple times and daughter once! I'm thinking the yield signs are in the wrong place; although I don't mind yielding, it's very hard to tell which lane the oncoming car is in . . . one lane for proceeding on around and another to cross in front of me. So, if I see a car coming, I now stop and wait to see where he's going!
I think the car crossing in front should have the yield sign, not the one going on around the roundabout!
