My hubby has now had to start wearing a mask when he goes to the surgery twice a week to have his wound dressed, he didn't have to at first it's only in the last fortnight they've made it a rule. I don't wear one, but then I don't leave the house.

Most of those masks are for protection from person wearing them.

I think they have started doing that in all surgeries in England & Wales. I had a text from mine telling me about it a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, it's to protect the docs not you. One of the first cases in England was a doctor's surgery.

He's got nothing against wearing one but it would have been nice if they'd let him know about it. He turned up for his Monday appointment as usual and was told he had to wear a mask before he could be let in, luckily there is a chemist just across the road so he was able to buy some.

    That sounds luxury to me.
I used to be a smoker and eat junk foods at least 3 times a week.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Agreed, Bill. At this point, I'm gonna wear my mask everywhere I go. Sure hate that I'll have to wear it for several hours on Wednesday nights when I play league pool.
I ordered a nice mask for if I have to wear it for any length of time. As of yet it's 99% grocery store or fast food drive in once a week. I knew I'd have to wait for it, but guarantee we'll be wearing masks next year, so...

I have spares 4 boxes of surgical mask. One in the car, 1 at my office, and 2 at home. Luckily I bought it last year because it was actually intended to be used when doing wood work at my garage.

But lately I feel like wearing my DIY cloth masks. I made some, added with a thin layer of sponge in beetween 2 outer layers so it have better shape when wearing it.
