Sorry to hear that your wife is injured, hope she recovers quickly and you're able to get what you want via delivery without having to wait for too long.
Here in the US Amazon doesn't deliver any packages themselves. Instead they run the package centers (Hubs) and pay independent contractors to deliver the packages. Most often in Amazon branded vans. The independent contractors don't pay well, and expect the drivers to deliver 225 to 300 packages during a 9 hour shift (the shift is 10 hours, but 1 hour is spent loading in the morning, and reconciling in the evening).
This leads to overworked drivers, rushing to make all their deliveries while often looking at the hand held devices while they drive. Amazon has training about safety and rules, etc. But they go out the window when running the deliveries since they are just about impossible. When anything goes wrong, Amazon puts the blame on the contractors saying safety is their priority, and they have rules blah, blah, blah
All the while they see what happens every day in their hubs, and know damn well what goes on. It's a massive scam on Amazons part. They threaten to pull work from contractors who don't deliver quickly. They can't fire any drivers since they don't employ them, so instead they ban a driver from their hub, effectively firing them since they are then of no use to the contractor.
I feel for every driver who I see. They can make decent money, but the physical and emotional toll must be great.

I came across this article from the local press in Cambridge, England, University of Cambridge virologist Dr Jane Greatorex, is a lead in her field with a lot of experience, and explains a little about what we Know and what we Don't know about COVID-19.
Some interesting things about infection rates and what is actually being tested ... from someone who the medical world listens to
Cambridge virologist explains what we do and don’t know about Covid-19
Very good article. I think I actually understood the timelines and stages. Here in the U.S., the next 30 day extension of social distancing starts today, now.
