I did, no doubt not a coincidence

This hearing should be flipped. These men and women should be up on this stage, Congress should be down here answering their questions as to why this is so damn hard and takes so damn long

Just to prove that not all software companies are all about money ...

I'm a long term user of the NIK software Plugins for Lightroom and Photoshop, back in 2017 the suite was bought from Google (Who did not support the package, but gave it away for free), by the Camera and Lens calibration people, DXO labs , I waited for over a year as there had been no development since google bought them. , unfortunately they were no longer free ($149 but included the DXO PhotoLab ).

DXO updated the plugins somewhat during 2018 so I finally bit the bullet and purchased the suite, (for the reduced price as a registered user or $49), at the end of May this year

a few days into June I had an email stating that DXO had just released their replacement for the NIK suite - NIK2 these now worked with more software and standalone and generally were an improvement on the originals, this made me a little annoyed as I had just paid for the old software a few days earlier.

I went onto their site and was expecting to see a slight discount as a user, but mainly to complain that they had not informed me of the new release when I bought the old one - I checked the price and found that it was $0.00 no fuss, no proof of purchase, just a free upgrade

I doubt if Google would have been so honest in upgrading as DXO

This articue in new and interesting.
Debian 10 Buster-based Endless OS 3.6.0 Linux distribution now availableWhen it comes to Linux, I prefer my distributions to be no-nonsense -- Fedora is my favorite distro, for instance. Is Fedora boring? Yes, I suppose. But that is sort of why I like it. Look, I just want the damn operating system to take a backseat to my actual work. Fedora with GNOME allows me to focus on my tasks without getting in the way.Understandably though, some Linux users like to "distro hop" where they are constantly moving between distributions, always wondering if the grass is greener on the other side. And yeah, I get that -- new is fun. People want excitement.

    EDIT:

As was quite expected, Insider Team has removed their original tweet, making my reply look completely out of context.

I was so sure they would delete the tweet, so I had made a screenshot of it. Screenshot shows the now removed tweet:
