EVERGREEN: Windows Insider MVP Nomination Revamped_Restored_Oct

    Windows Insider MVP Nomination

Have you made significant contributions to the wider technical community or know someone who has?

The Windows Insider MVP award recognizes individuals who, over the past 12 months, have demonstrated superior knowledge, leadership and passion, combined with a desire to help and accelerate other's learning, careers, and abilities. You can nominate yourself to be considered for an MVP Award or nominate someone you know!

Before you begin, here's a quick checklist to make sure you, or your nominee, meet the criteria - we know that there are countless rock stars in the technical community, but only a special few can be MVPs!
    • Are you passionate about Microsoft technologies, products and services, how they work together with other platforms, and can't wait to see what's next?
    • Are you excited and motivated to share your knowledge with the wider technical community?
    • Over the past year, have you contributed significantly to online communities and/or in-person events through speaking, blogging, podcasts, hosting events or other channels? Can you provide examples?
    • Would you be one of the first people that friends or colleagues call to discuss a newly released technology? Would you at the opportunity to advise them on implementing it?
    • Are you a Windows Insider?

If you could easily tick off this checklist and feel confident about your contributions, please go ahead and fill in the form below to submit a nomination! We are currently accepting nominations for the July 2019award date. If you would like to get some more information or have questions, please contact us at wimvp@microsoft.com.

    Good luck!

I value your opinion, but WHY should I do it? What do I gain from it and how will my contribution affect Windows and other MS software development compared to being a non-MVP?
Your voice will carry more weight with the Insider team. It will bring prestige to you and reflect well on TF.

Oh, look at that. I got the WIP MVP invitation too...should I apply? If so, why should I do it other than getting access to MSDN?
I really recommend you to fill the form and submit it.

You not only get Visual Studio Enterprise (former MSDN) subscription. You also get invited to regular online meetings with various Windows teams, access to "big guys" through closed Yammer group, advance information about coming changes and features and so on.

You would in my opinion make a good Insider MVP. You are analytical, quite an advanced user, your opinion matters.

    Do it!

    Alright, you convinced me!

I guess I have to shave, take a shower and comb my hair before I make the small video presentation. I'm looking like a troll at the moment, though this is not my normal state of looks.

A rule of thumb: on a promotional video, you should rather look as a bachelor looking for a date, than as a settled-down husband

Put on one of these and you'll be a shoe-in.

This is more important in the Insider Program, than fixing Windows or creating a usable product, these days:

Anyway, seriously speaking, I wholeheartedly recommend everyone getting this "Based on your contributions..." email to submit the application. Not only because of benefits, but also because it is a way to get connected.
