All in all, this has been a quite sentimental, self-pitying weekend for me. Couldn't get out from my apartment yesterday due extreme balance and nausea issues which made me thinking about everything. I lost my drivers license recently for medical reasons, learned that I will never fly again and so on, then this cancelled trip and concert yesterday.

I'm fine, everything is OK, it's just that when sentimental nostalgy hits, it hits hard.

Is there no chance of you being able to go back home to live Kari, although weren't you at one time talking about going to the Netherlands to live, are you now permanently tied to having to live out your life in Germany?

I have decided to stay here in Germany. Moving back to Finland would be as if moving to any foreign country, only difference being that I know the language. I've been away so long. Moving to Netherlands was tied to a work opportunity there, and my love to that country, but as I can no longer work at least full time, that idea is dead.

Add to that the fact that it is extremely difficult at the moment to sell apartments here in Eastern Germany to get even close what you have paid for it.

My life has been here over 12 years now, the longest time I have ever lived in one place.
