(€391 is according to exchange rates (09-AUG-2018) £351 / $450 / AUD 611.)
Here in Wales even the Prescription Charges that the English have to pay are waived, amazingly our devolved Government has also abolished parking charges in Hospital car parks, which is actually an issue as where the hospitals are close to city centres this is abused, our local hospital have got around this issue by making all sites "Blue Badge disabled " and gated emergency parking only
Thanks that just reminded me that while I was away last week I had an email that my annual prescription prepayment had expired, I'm just renewing now £104 which seems a bargain (unless you are in Scotland or Wales and get everything free )
I do not know what the English charge for prescription is per item but I know it would cost me a fortune - I'm on a basic 15 Medications per day (some more than once a day), and others as needed during exacerbations and I know that the one inhaler alone costs the NHS £60 + for 28 doses (one daily in my case).
Edit
It's officially £8.80 per item, so my collection yesterday would have cost me £132 - I know it's unlikely that I would be charged for everything at full price, but I think I'll stay in Wales
