It's an interesting event Adobe Max, I have it running live on my second screen and there are some interesting segments so far, there are also quite a lot of tutorials available on the site and it's worthwhile saving the Max.adobe.com address as a lot of the tutorials will be available for a while.

Just thought I'd mention Adobe's annual convention is in it's second day today ....

Due to the current situation with the world wide Covid-19 pandemic this year Adobe has made it a free open online event, anyone can view the content, which is obviously based around Adobe products, but some of the lectures and other content will be interesting even for those who do not use Creative Cloud.

For those who are tied into the Subscription service, there has been a major update on all the major applications, Photoshop is now at revision 22.0 Lightroom is at version 4.0 and Lightroom Classic is now at V10.0 both have a lot of new features.

The convention is running 24/hours a day for today and tomorrow at Adobe MAX 2020 Creativity Conference | Join Live Now [one thing is that you may not have audio when you start, scroll down and the volume control will appear on the lower left
Thanks, Nigel. I'm going to tell my students this morning!

The live "stage" discussions and training begins at 9AM PDT and runs for the whole day and the same tomorrow, there is a running order (planned) for the actual details of what is available on the site, which may help with planning

Too bad we can't record it for later viewing. My computer time is limited today. Windows 10 class in the mornings, gotta get scripts in the afternoon, then pool league tonight. Sheesh! How'd I get myself so busy!?

The majority of the training sessions will be available on demand for the next twelve months {only those that involve trainers with specialist limited contracts will not be available), so there could be a number of useful sessions for you on the long term website - Max.adobe.com - they should have a selection panel shortly where you can select training sessions based on user experience level and software package

Today will be a busy day, must change passwords for all my online accounts. I have a lot of them...

An hour ago, I received an SMS (text message as you Yanks say), which clearly is a 2FA authentication code:

    Today [6]-image.png

Problem is, I have no idea for which account. I was drinking my breakfast, watching news on TV, when the SMS came. Only thing sure is, that someone, somewhere was trying to get in to one of my accounts, and had already found the password.

In my case, the UK country code +44 makes it almost sure that it's one of my various Microsoft related accounts. Microsoft has no logic in sending these codes, sometimes I see sender as "Microsoft", sometimes a German sender (country code +49):

    Today [6]-image.png

If so, the six digit code tells it's an AD account instead of personal MS account; for reasons I do not know, personal MS account codes received as SMS have 7 digits (last one in above screenshot), whereas workplace AD account codes have 6 digits.

So, first I did was to change password on each of my AD accounts. Work continues, though, because there's still a possibility it's not about an AD or MS account. I could also be any third party account.

Anyone in UK, could you please tell what's the sender's area code. Searching UK area codes, I can not find anything when searching for instance 077.
