Today I updated my 9 year old TP-Link modem router to a newer version. Only had to change networking settings in 4 iphones, 1 tablet, 1 printer, 1 extender, two Xbox's and four laptops. Luckily the TV is connected via Ethernet. Wi-Fi seems much better and the 5Ghz band doesn't drop out any more.
Edit: forgot the Fire-stick!
Edit again, forgot Alexa.

Since a stroke back in 2010, I have suffered from insomnia. It has gone in 12 to 16 day cycles; I could sleep max two or three hours a day, with a few totally sleepless nights during the cycle, then my body gave up and I slept two 15 hour nights. Then the new cycle begun.
After Christmas 2019, I was quite sick and had to spend a few days in hospital, mostly due balance issues I have and issues in my inner ears. A month later, I was back in hospital, and this time, got some pills to tackle the balance issues.
I miss those pills, they helped me to sleep. But, according to my doc, I do not need them anymore. I slept 6 to 10 hours a nigth when taking them. Not anymore.
It's now almost 10 AM on Tuesday here, I woke up yesterday morning at 4:30 AM and have not slept since that. I have tried, I just got up after being some 8+ hours in bed. Incredibly tired, not able to sleep. I gave up, drinking my breakfast whisky now.
