Yup, and sooner or later it won't hold a charge for long. But, the battery I listed and Bob listed (same battery) Works just great.
    Price is between 15 bucks and as low as 7 or 8 bucks. Just don't use a 2.0 usb hub.....like I did....lol
You had the dongle in a 2.0?

hmmmmm...... mine's always been in a 2.0, with a 6 ft extender to keep the RF interference down. Not that either is right or wrong, just works here, no problems.

Well with the default logitech battery it seemed to have no issue. But with the new replacement battery it never worked correctly.
Then some of the guys on here told me (after I tried using the 3.1) that 3.1 charges much better.

ok, we may be talking 2 different things here. My dongle, the receiver/transmitter for mouse and KB, is in a 2.0 w/extender cable. I charge on a 3.1. Dongle 2.0 is on back panel, 3.1 charging port on front panel.

Check the coffee cup...it may need recharging!

May be hard to see, but 2 charging/data front panel 3.1 ports are on the right, and they also have a small symbol that looks like a battery. Left 2 are data 3.1. My specs say those 2 on the right are rigged for heavier current draw, and will stay live even if PC is shutdown. "Shared Power" or something.

All my 2.0 and 3.1's stay live when this rig is shut down, top and back. I have no signs showing any charging symbols thou.
I am using top 3.1 on this rig for charging also.
