@Kari Followed the instructions in the tutorial, and I have joined the team no problem. :)

Wynona, that is just an info prompt. Even clicking Yes on that, you would not subscribe anything.

You would know if you had subscribed, for the first, you would have had to choose a O365 Business or Enterprise subscription plan to continue purchase, and choose how many licenses you want. Also, even if you already have your payment details like credit card number stored by Microsoft because of an earlier purchase, you would have been asked if you want to use that payment method or add a new one.

I am convinced you have nothing to worry.

I don't think you *need* to upgrade though, unless you are setting up your own team outside of TF chats?
The free version offers almost all of the functionality with smaller storage limits.

Hmm...this MS Teams is a completely different beast to tame. So far I don't really like it. It's overly complex solution for a simple problem. But it's a typical MS app as usual. I need to test the Desktop version of this too. Android version is complete shite, at least on a small screen.

UPDATE: Got it working in Edge on Windows. Seems to be working good. The UI is still as horrible though, but at least I got more screen realestate.

I'm in complete agreement, Slice. It's ugly and hard to understand. Because I will need to interact with students, I also need to test the Desktop version, that is, if there's really a DT version!

As a test, I uninstalled O365 on Lappy Little and reinstalled. I had Teams, but it still had to be installed. Sigh . . . What a convoluted mess!

At this point, I'm going to just try to learn what I need for TF and go from there.

Guys, if you get tired to those alphabet avatars in TenForums Live team, and if it does change whatever you do, post your preferred avatars here and I will change them in Azure admin panel.

On another note, those of you who entered a security phone number and / or email address when signing in first time with team credentials, please read step 2.4 in tutorial, and let me know if you want that information to be deleted.

    @Kari
I created an avatar in TenForums, but could see no way to transfer it to Teams, so I signed out and back in again - but I had to use the invitation 'email address' to log in , as it seems my new password is linked to that alone (I first tried my real email address but got nowhere). I then had to go through the setup process again and was able to upload my avatar to Teams.
Will that invitation 'email address' remain valid (if I ever have to sign out again)?

Until you tell us to remove you from the Ten Forums Live team, your sign-in username name will be that @TenForums.onmicrosoft.com address told in PM you got.

You need to use that address to sign-in. If you have multiple organizations set up in Teams, when signing in from Teams app, you must select TenForums and sign-in with the username told in PM:

Signing in first time, you use the password in the PM you got. Password must be changed, so in subsequent sign-ins, you use the password you set.

Notice that switching between organizations in which you use different credentials, you must sign-in with credentials of the organization you are switching to.

    Thanks.
How would I go about setting up another organisation?
