Good morning Josey, its ok ......Pats don't have a really good team this year, I knew this already. They drafted lousy players on both sides of the ball, and released some real good players, cause they didn't want to pay them. Now their paying for it.

If the battery is Out of Production..A battery that is not really for that mouse will just cause problems. I gave up on Wireless Mice & KB's.. I use wired -No problems.

Well I can do that now, as long as I leave this plugged in, it works just fine.

Battery is not out of production ....Logitech will NOT sell you one, they want you to replace the entire mouse...about 100 bucks.

You said the Logitech software couldn't talk to the battery..... have you tried to un-pair the device and re-pair it? Maybe it would reset the config data between the two? Just guessing.....
