And don't forget about being extra alert when going out in emergency... Electric lines tends to make auto check for short circuit, and you never know, if somebody connect his generator without safety measures...

    Double check everything
Heck yes Andre, I am terrified of the electric lines. I always ask 2 or 3 times about it when I get near one of them. Thanks just in case I was not lol.

    Good day everyone.

Looks like everyone is busy enough.

    Overcast and cool here.

Yesterday I got my generator out and started it. Didn't need it just running a test. Had big winds here, little tornado outside the nation's capital. Not like the ones in the US but I guess they are all scary.

No word yet from the folks at screenpresso on how their automatic update works.

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

It's actually cool this morn, in the low 60's, not supposed to get hotter then the mid 70's, nice change for once.

Morning Josey. Josey did yo9u have enough SATA ports on MB to support additional drives? I bought a little card to go along with the bay.

    Morning TC

Landlord discussion was interesting. His defense is he had house inspected and they passed it. Asked me if they should have caught in inspection, my response yes. If you walk in and you see a kitchen renovation, especially a new one, ask for a copy of electrical permit. These home inspectors may have a role for some buyers but I doubt their work. My current home had lots of issues not identified. There are other issues I can see with mechanicals and I'm not certified in any. The guy just didn't know.

The electrician was a no show. He easily would have understood what open ground is. He is actually not a home electrician, he works high tension.

I'm heading there today to explore Josey's idea. Just because I found three wire on dishwasher plug doesn't mean the house isn't two wire. Good call Josey. More on this later.
We have two wire installations here built 'till mid 70's. (not all, just some). Most of them working fine, but three wire is less prone to safety failures.

    Morning Ken.

I don't like doing electrical work, last time I did sparks flew & the towel on the stove started smouldering.

Good morning Borg. Cold rainy day here too.
    Afternoon Andre & Locky.

We might be due for some of that. Right now just enjoying the fact the humidity is low.

Normally something I would not share, but this is the chillout room.... Yesterday a buddy gave me a 24oz beer. I drank it and had a nice buzz. I ate good last night and feel nothing from it, which is good. But..... I just farted and OMG....
