I would never even think of buying ANY appliance from Lowes .....I don't even like buying simple nuts and bolts from them. LoL They have lots of poor quality stuff Josey.

I was helping some people today and the associate came up to me and asked if I would be interested in working there. One day I was there and I couldn't take it so I jumped in. A young lad was telling this couple they could not submerge a submersible sump pump because it was electrical.

He does not know what he is talking about. Our sump pump is submerged and it works great. My in laws have one that sits on top and it does not work so well.

I know the feeling, Ken. I've jumped in on a few things too. Not electrical, though. And I generally can't keep my mouth shut when I encounter some poor soul in Best Buy or Office Depot when the sales person is trying to tell them wrong. Then there's the one who, for some odd reason, actually knows what he's talking about and actually helps me find what I want.

I know, we get all of our appliances from a local store called Sheely's. They deliver for free, install for free and take away the old unit. They also have their own employees doing the install and not some contractor that they hired. They have been in business over 100 years.

Home Depot delivered this dishwasher and new fridge on Sunday. The fridge is still on the front porch. Told her it wouldn't go up back deck stairs. The back stairs are 42" wide. The fridge will go up the stairs with me beside it.

What they were trying to say is, look lady I'm not carrying this fridge down the front stairs and up the back stairs.
