My old Logitech uses replaceable batteries, $2 and you're good to go for at least a year.

Miy M705 I swapped out the alkaline batteries for rechargeable. They last about 3 months.

Ha! Yes, It will take me a while to clean it up. Have to wait for it to get dry, but we are expecting more rain this coming weekend.
