In that case I'll definitely make sure to stop by!
Came with a 1TB 5400RPM HDD but I replaced it with a 500GB SSD and I'm using the HDD for backups. It's also got room for a RAM upgrade in the future. Right now it has 8GB, which should be fine, but I can upgrade it to 16 in the future.
The 8GB should be enough if you're not playing games or editing videos/pictures.
I would stick with Windows defender (or Security or what they call it now)… No need for Malwarebytes pro. Maybe add MBAE and modify hosts file for coinmine protection.
You will be restricted about browsing anyhow. Better stick with Macrium backup...
Ummm, Andre, he'll be on a public network in college. "College WiFi is a hacker's dream." This from a friend who knows security.
Don't know if I really needed this addon, but I installed it anyway, my MB Pro seems to block sites without even having this addon installed, but I installed it anyway.

This blocks stuff the Pro doesn't for me.
It does give you a choice to go to it if you want but its good to have the warning.
Good morning/afternoon/evening folks. How is everyone?
It’s a cloudy, grey 19°F/-7°C. Warming to 21°F/-6°C today. Duplicate of yesterday. We had a couple more of inches of snow last night.
I see the East Coast is getting hammered. Hope y'all...
