I have looked online and the power cable I need is more than some cheap printers that would serve me fine. Probably will still get the blasted cable for 30 bux since mine has a scanner and color capabilities, and I have full ink cartridges for it.

Know I'm going against the grain, but my Canon MX410 all-in-one has served me well now for over 6+ years. All I do is feed it every now and then. USB 2.0 connected. Lappy is networked to it thru DT.

Canons are good. Think they all are these days. I have only one brand on my black list... L..... (won't even spell that name )

We don't have any local shops in these parts any more. There used to be one where I got all my random things from, but they closed down a few years back. There might be one I have no idea that it exists and does no advertising to find them though lol.
