My neighbour across the street is, how shall we say this nicely, different. She got new appliances today so she wants to give us her old ones. At least that is what I think she said, my Portuguese isn't what it use to be. I also got from the discussion that my wife said I would cut her lawn. Never really sure how the conversation will go and you cannot say okay or nod. I just say a lot "Oh".

Yesterday she wanted my wife to take home a prime rib roast. I blew out the street gutters with my blower yesterday to help her so this was payment... I guess.

They went shopping together, I know something is coming back with them. Likely a potted plant for outside, could be Ice Cream you just never know.

She use to speak English to us but that has gone out the window.
