I have a ton of computers and HDD coming out the .....

Would just like something to write file to HDD every time it senses motion. I'll have to check out cloud cost.

Nest is $5 for five days and $3 for each camera (five days). Actually Nest has a pretty neat structure. You can have three structures per account and each account can have 20 cameras. You could spend a lot of money with them not to mention bandwidth necessary to upload that real time.
