@Caledon Ken - not sure if you are aware of this part:

Not offered as an update, you have to get it. It's a major version change.

Thunderbird version 60.0 is only offered as direct download from thunderbird.net and not as upgrade from Thunderbird version 52 or earlier.

    Thanks TC.

I wasn't. Wanted a nice easy path to upgrade. Not a big deal.

Good link... lots of info. Says 60.1 will upgrade from 52.

    Thanks again @f14tomcat

    Just FYI:

When I went 52>60, I Revo'd 60 away, Progs data, and Reg data, but kept the Appdata stuff, which has all the profile data. Installed 60, and it picked up all the profile data auto. Came right up, no mucking with anything.

Yes I have my profile safely secured and backed up. Not in a rush as 60.1 must be around the corner.

I'll let you Beta testers work it out for me.

    Evening AD. Busy day?

Not this kid! I don't Beta email clients. Only the stuff I can break and cause havoc, like OS's!
