Usually rain brings cooler temps, but around here that's only temporary. After a storm passes, the sun comes out & turns the outside into a terrarium.

The irony is 5 months from now we'll be bitching about the cold
I usually have no complaints about the cold unless it is a freezing rain when I have to be out in it. Messy stuff that fubars the roads for travel will do it also. You can always put on more clothes to stay warm. When it is so hot you would sweat in the shade nakey, that is just too much

My Wife doesn't mind the heat so much as the cold.

We get the worst of both world, summer it's hot, humid & hellish, in winter we get freezing cold & wicked winds with chills below 0. Lucky us.

The elusive "They" are saying that here, too. Little break right now....sunny, 73°, swampy outside (standing water). More on the way, though. We got a little over 5" yesterday total...... creeks look like the Mississippi.

A mix of clouds & occasional sun, in the high 60's I believe. Had chicken last night, watched some old Twilight zone eps & stayed up too late....again
