Good morning and good afternoon all.

Hot here with T-storms this evening.

Anyone watch that bike race yesterday. Brutal. They threw in the section with cobblestones. Crashes everywhere. One of the favorites broke his shoulder, second guy to fracture his shoulder this year. One guys bike frame was so damaged they said it would be scrapped. These guys hit the pavement hard.
Morning Ken. And they are carbon fibre frames.

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

I have a few minutes before I need to head out again. Pharm says her meds are there & waiting.

In the 70's this morn, thick thick air & the heat index is already up in the 80's. Forecast said very humid today

Here's your interesting pic of the day:

    Morning Mike

Afternoon Paul. Yes real nasty especially when they are sprinting. A few years back a media car hit some riders. One went over barb wired fence, needed stitches but still raced. Broken bones are very common. You see them riding with all this high tech bandages. Got to be the toughest athletics in word. Basically no safety gear except helmet.

Afternoon Keith. Lots on money in this sport. Specialized bikes for regular runs, lighter frames for climbing and then another bike for time trials. A lot of teams seem to have multiple sponsors. Team Sky has really deep pockets.

Morning Borg. How was weekend? Any stories?

    Morning Ken.

No, it was a nice, peaceful weekend. My Wife called it boring. I call it peaceful & relaxing.

I'm off to the pharm. Have to get stuff done on Mon as usual, with an added burden of doing some extra as morrow got 3 doc appts. Same day the storms are supposed to hit

You all take care & have a good safe day.

That's because of the amount they charge for Sky Sports.
