Only other thing I have not tried was sending a report with screenshot of the error msg to a couple of these programs. Don't know if it would really do any good, because they might say its a Windows problem and not theirs.

Morning Bob, it was 48° here early this morning, around 53° now......feels like March.

Morning / afternoon folks.

Just a fly by saying hello, this is the last day with low humidity & I need to finish up the car I started a week ago, after tonight the weather goes to hell, so I need to get it done...today. No choice unless I want to wait until heaven knows when.....I'm already cutting it close, stuff needs 12 hrs to cure & rain forecast tonight after midnight, so it might work out.....

Think I did that, least with the Frenchies. Next update that came out popped up a message saying "Remember this is only Beta software" or something like that. But go ahead, maybe they'll email you some nice French cheese and wine! Or a cute blond!
