You get Ocra sometimes in Indian curries. Never really liked them. They can be a bit slimy.

Overcast and cool here...okay cold here. Mighty strange weather. (I will remind you you the cold air comes from Russia.)

Heading to basement today, I've been dumping stuff where ever there is space so time to organize.
    Morning Ken. Enjoy your organising.

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

Sunny & cool, it was in the low 50's last night, we got to the mid 70's yesterday with low humidity.

We were on the phone off/ on right up to the end of the workday. (5 PM)
    Morning Borg.

The last part of the day was also a lot of fun.

I go to the doc, he prescribes a med. I get a call from the pharm, med will cost $380, they ask do I still want it.

No, not at that price. I call the insurance, they say it needs pre-auth, they submit it for that & grant me a "transitional" supply (30 days allowed).

I call the pharm 1/2 hr later, they say still coming up as $380.

I call the ins back, they call the pharm, oh...they're using the name brand med, not the generic, I'm told only the doc can change it to the generic.

By this time 2 hrs have elapsed, doc is closed so the fun takes off again this morn

    Unbelievable.

Well I can tell you it's waaaay more complicated then the system you have there. Kado told me that there's a cap on any med at 8.50 pounds. There are no caps here. Unless you have insurance & even then the prices fluctuate.....
Yep it has now gone up to a flat rate of £8.80 per item. Over 60's and some chronic illnesses get free meds.

    Afternoon Keith

    Morning Mike

Most of the folks south of the border on our trip had nothing nice to say about health care to the north. I just invoked "Rule 8" and had a beer.

Not sure i have ever tried Okra, beeman, what type of thing do you cook with it?
You cut it up, lightly salt it to bring out the juice, then liberally coat it with cornmeal (half a cup or so mixed in with the okra). Put it into a frying pan with adequate cooking oil and fry over medium heat until done. Yummy!
