We got pretty warm yesterday, but the humidity stayed at bay most of the day until the eve when I had to turn on the AC. Didn't notice how warm it was in the bedroom till my Wife came up & said it was 78° in the room.

We had to watch my Wife's Dad's dog one time for a weekend, a German Shepard, he was unfortunately scared of T Storms pretty bad.

He crawled behind our TV & tried to get under the shelving that held a bunch of stereo equipment. Poor doggie, we had to hold him & assure him every time a storm came through, & we had 3 or 4 that weekend.

Well not too much scares Sammy, but a bad T-storm does. She will be right on my lap if that happens, I am her security blanket. All thou, she does weigh 66lbs....

The storms don't seem to bother the cat, he just comes in when it's pouring rain & thundering but he doesn't try to hide.

Now fireworks he does not like. And unfortunately, they shoot the big display off every year right behind our house. So on the 4th, we have to be sure he's in for the night until it's over.

Sammy don't seem to mind fireworks, because of where we live, its not that bad around here. Just a few folks firing off small ones, which ain't that bad.

Storms don't bother Gracie and Lucy at all. In fact, Lucy will actually go out when it's raining.

What is funny thou, when I am mowing the lawn on my tractor, she goes and hides if she is outside with me, she don't care for the lawn tractor at all. LoL

Our cat has something against vacuums, probably because of that one time I tried to "dry clean" him with it. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Too bad it didn't work out, would have saved a lot of time brushing him.

My Wife says she needs some help moving a couple plants on the porch & then we're eating early I guess. She has Tamales ready to cook.

Gracie doesn't even mind the vacuum cleaner. I don't think Lucy does either.
