Where's Mike today? Thought I'd see at least one post about CCleaner update. Oh no! Did he finally turn his 1080Ti into Chernobyl?
I've been reading the replies from the folks silly enough to actually install it...LoL ....I have to be good boy, because I have nothing nice to say about CCleaners latest release. V5.40 is the ONLY good version to run. Mine is the Pro version. I will never upgrade it to any newer release.

Since it seems everyone but TC is napping, I thought I'd tell y'all about our first night of pool league play last night:

Mike said he hoped we'd kick butt, but, well, that's not exactly what happened . . .

We didn't wind up kicking any butt at all . . . Johnny kind of got his kicked instead . . . he was in the way of his opponent and I yelled at him to move, which he did, but not far enough. Ingrid (his opponent) changed her mind as to how she was going to approach the shot and accidentally bumped into him. He's not steady on his legs, so he went sprawling! Since I was looking right at him, I saw the whole thing unfold, and neither he nor Ingrid knew exactly what happened.

I never saw so many people suddenly hover over anyone; I had to tell them to back off and let him talk to me! One of the guys was a nurse, and when I heard that, I (more or less) deferred to him . . . Some were even trying to get him up, but I told 'em to leave him where he was until we could find out if anything was broken. I know his history and can ask the right questions! So, between us, the nurse and I decided when to put him on his feet. He was ambulatory, but by the time we left, he'd stiffened up.

Back to the game, I asked him if he wanted to finish the game or forfeit. He said forfeit, so that was it . . . until Ingrid went into action! She didn't want to win that way, so she went to her team captain, and then to Russell, and they all agreed that I should finish his game for him. Ummm, do what!? OK, so he'd already lost two of Ingrid's three required wins, so there was the rest of that game to lose. But I won it! So, I had to lose one more, which I did, unfortunately. That was so sweet of Ingrid.

Earlier today he started using a walker and Tylenol kept the pain away. He started walking up and down the front porch every so often to keep from stiffening up completely. Awhile ago, I found the walker in the hallway and him in his chair. He's had enough of that thing. He's now walking pretty slowly, but without any mechanical help. We just finished a trip down and back up our steep driveway to check the mail. He will wait a couple days before trying that again!

Oh, yeah, and his pacemaker is intact and isn't yelling at him. He said he did worry about the thing getting crushed as he was going down.

    And that's the latest drama at Wynona's house . . .
Glad Johnny is alright Wynona, you've got to take things Slow with Johnny, just got to pace yourselves. We are not in our 20's anymore dear. You two can kick butt another time.
