My Wife's Aunt has a couple hives & they get some honey once in a while. I think they have the hives mostly to help pollinate their garden & get some sweetness in return.

I dont use all the gestures, but find scrolling very nice, i have the right hand side set to scroll, so just slide my finger up/down on it
some things like copy/paste is much easier with a normal mouse

Dont try the track pads on OS X, the scroll goes the opposite direction to what you expect , scrolling upwards moves the page up
