    It was a setting buried in my BIOS that I had never seen. Some weird option that offered what kind of devices to boot from. It was not easy to find. It was set to UEFI and Legacy. I changed it to UEFI and now only the UEFI DVD and USB show.

    On most ASUS boards you can also hit your delete key, that will also bring you into your bios...

    The F8 key is mainly for booting to a usb drive....
