Imaging is not an ideal way to back up data partitions. You really need a File & Folder backup system. If you have the paid Macrium you can use that or Microsoft's Synctoy (getting a bit old) but I prefer FreeFileSync.
I think it is for this drive, the files never change. It is rare when I add to that drive, maybe couple times a year. Plus the image saves me .4 TB by imaging it.

    Afternoon Ken :)

Warmer here today and supposed to stay warm, yea !!

    Congrats Paul on winning #119

I saw in that update thread someone else's Recovery drive got a letter and started reporting running low on space, must be a known issue. Hopefully people are reporting the known issues so they can be looked at. Who am I kidding, bit bucket.

I have a really old laptop, made for Vista, running Windows 10. Checked for updates twice and on second check it started downloading 1803 so it is not an age thing.

Blood donation day but I get COOKIES, lots of COOKIES.

Might even try fixing that sprinkler head.
    Good Morning Ken :)

    Morning Mike

    Afternoon Keith

Keith you mentioned Imaging is not the way to backup data files. Is that just because it backs everything thing up whether needed or not or is there another deficiency?

I think I have everything the way I want it with image made of the current state. I am just hoping that Controlled Folder Access does not start squawking at a bunch of stuff. I turned it on and used nearly every program/app I have installed. I know it will have issues when a game updates that writes to the Documents folder. They don't update but once or twice a month so I can deal with that.
