Not sure what you mean on Transfer to new system.......if you have not used your key yet, it will work just fine. Did you buy a new computer Andre?? I have reinstalled Macrium on same computer after a clean install without any problems.

can you run diskpart (or Minitool partition wizzard) and get you recovery partition type... Curios about what happened there.

Partition type should be Type : de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac
    Here you go :)

    Partition 6

Well updating my 2nd pc using WU worked a lot better than when I used the USB method on this rig. 2nd computer is all updated and everything works fine, no issues that I can see....at least yet. :)

That would be faster but you can also just mount the ISO and run it.

My C drive is pretty empty, has 87.9GB free of 111. This backup in progress is a 2TB drive with about 1.3TB of data.

and I have a 3GB pagefile too this time lol. It was 1GB on 1709 and the IP 1803
Imaging is not an ideal way to back up data partitions. You really need a File & Folder backup system. If you have the paid Macrium you can use that or Microsoft's Synctoy (getting a bit old) but I prefer FreeFileSync.

I transferred MR from a W7 system to my current W10. It's quite painless

    1. Take a note of your licence key.
    2. Remove licence on the old system. Help->Remove Licence.
    3. Install on the new system applying the licence key during installation.

    Afternoon and morning all.

Warmer here today and supposed to stay warm, yea !!

    Congrats Paul on winning #119

I saw in that update thread someone else's Recovery drive got a letter and started reporting running low on space, must be a known issue. Hopefully people are reporting the known issues so they can be looked at. Who am I kidding, bit bucket.

I have a really old laptop, made for Vista, running Windows 10. Checked for updates twice and on second check it started downloading 1803 so it is not an age thing.

Blood donation day but I get COOKIES, lots of COOKIES.

Might even try fixing that sprinkler head.
