    Good Morning / Afternoon folks.

Sunny & in the 60's today, but that doesn't mean spring is here.

Congrats @JLMaloney on winning #118, your coupon for a CD of "The Screaming Goats do Metallica Songs" or a case of Ol' Bernie's Instant Possum Milk Shake mix is on the way.
    Morning y'all.
I have never won anything before and don't know what to say besides Thank you to everyone.

Wow, look at the choice of prizes its better than the lottery almost.
Thanks Mr. Dr. Borg, how do I get my address to you so I can get it ?

Do I have to pay for shipping or is it included ?
Do you take credit cards ?

@kado897, so the Trulicity injection is fully automated. You don't have to mess with anything, it's all self contained.

You put it up against your skin, unlock it, push the button, it inserts the needle, injects the meds, then draws out the needle & locks. Takes 5 - 10 seconds total.

Nice automation, but that still doesn't justify the cost per dose in my book.

It's a once a week though. I doubt if I can get it in the UK.

Couldn't say, I don't know if it's avail over there. Can't imagine it wouldn't be, but then stuff happens. But it helps with insulin absorption into the cells so it maintains your sugars better. If your sugars give you problems down the road, you may want to look into this.

The pharmacist told us that this was a win for people with diabetes, because some of them need to be injected daily and those meds carry the risk of pancreatitis, but since this is 1X a week, that risk goes down.

Just checked and it's been available since 2015.

That's good. Hopefully your sugars remain stable with the meds you take now, but it's good to know you have options.

Time to head out, my Wife says we're having burgers for breakfast. Time to start the movie / junk food marathon.

You all have a good safe day & take care :)
