So I wonder what happened to the thought process it would only be implemented for those that went and got it.

I thought this was so they could manage rollout, see what happens with early adopters, then release on the public.

Was this always their plan or did somebody at Redmond not read the memo. I leaning to the later.

Got my USB made, going to clean install an old (very slow ) laptop. Thankfully my desktop has defer feature updates engaged.
