Well you can move around the top 1/2 inch with a shovel, under that is it 1 1/2 to 2 inches of ice. These little pellets must be be near the melting pointing and are freezing together.

Cleared it from one garage door and then thought if water fills this in the door will be frozen to mid summer.

I need one of those flame thrower trucks someone was posting way back.

Thankfully it will be above freezing this week. Will take that long and it will be slick. Massive run on the hardware stores to get salt and they put it all away to get patio stuff out. Oh well, will keep them busy.

We have at least an inch of ice pellets, some place two to three inches. Dump all that water in and watch it freeze. They are asking good citizens to open storm drains so that is what I'll be doing.

A lot of the big indoor malls up here have these walking clubs. People arrive early and by the time the shoppers show up they are gone.

My niece is supposed to fly to Prague today. Probably her third time on a plane and the airport is more of a mess than they normally are. Then there will be all the de-icing procedures which always gives you that warm feeling.
