    Missing Optical Drive in explorer exhusted all other win8.1


    I was hoping someone would be able to help, I have exhausted all other sources. I have a c55-a Toshiba laptop and the optical drive cddvdw just disappeared. I replaced it, but same thing has yellow ! on driver in device manager. The drive is a tsstcorp su-208db and will not update or fix after uninstall, just reinstalls same when rebooting. My last resort is to load windows 10 upgrade. Any suggestions? As many of you already know, when you do an upgrade, you fight to find all the drivers etc...
