I didn't see what you had yesterday. Was a busy day, my Wife had doc appts, we got a bill for over $3000 for medical tests. Had to call the ins on that one, turns out the billing dept submitted it with the wrong code so that's a relief. I figured it was something like that, but talk about shock when I opened & saw the bill
Yes you are.
They have everything divided into billing codes & using the wrong one throws the balance back into your court.
My Wife got bitten by a tick last year & the doc had to find the correct billing code for that (it was a deer tick, so she had to get tested for Lyme disease).
They have codes for everything, she told us the code she almost accidentally used was for if you got bitten by a Snapping Turtle. Like I said, codes for everything.
Afternoon and morning all
Sun is shining here but still cold. 99% of snow gone, for second time this year.
That $3000 bill would be a shock, obviously your heart is okay.
Not sure what to get into today apart from my standard Saturday chores.
Morning Ken
Yeah, you would think I would be used to it by now with the billing code debacle.
One place that handles the radiology always cuts off the last 3 digits of our healthcare ins, so when we get a bill from them, it's usually in the neighborhood of 3 - 5 K, until I call them & they resubmit it.
