I put the bees in to 3 boxes yes but they all stack on top of each other there is no top or bottom on the boxes I put a bottom and on the top box I put a lid making it one beehive. At this stage separating the swarm into another unit the bees in the queen-less part will not have what they need to raise another queen after the queen starts laying you can split the swarm into more hives and they will have what they need to raise a new queen.

The bees were in someones back yard yes they called me up wanting me to remove them.

I try to run about 200 beehives with about 6 boxes to each beehive.

Looks like the rest of the week will be nice and sunny with spring like temperatures.

No I do not advertise as most of the time it is not worth collecting swarms as most of the time they are out of reach. If you have bees you can split your hives to get more bees in less time than it will take to collect swarms. If you do not have bees already then it is worth your time to put your name with the sheriff dep. so you will get some calls as mail order swarms can be pricey.
