Hey, Guy.. That's an ace tune.. written by Bob D and originally offered to Eric Clapton - Ronnie took it on and made it his own
- Dylan's own 1976 live version on the Bootleg series is a brilliant performance
- Mr D really throws himself into the song with gusto, and sings his very heart out..
- a remarkable recording, even for the mighty Mr D: he just goes flat out on the song - and the band is fantastic..
- 'thoroughly recommend you give it a listen.. It's one of Mr D's best live renditions..
- you'd have to buy the official Bob Dylan Bootleg Vols 1 - 3 issued by Columbia, as the song doesn't appear on YouTube..
- keep on rockin' in the free world..!!

Ron and Keith both can't really sing. They can warble, but it's more cringe worthy than anything. When I saw The New Barbarians in 1979, the songs were great, and you walked away after able to write a Stones song in your head, but they really missed Mick, or anyone who can really sing. Stanley Clarke on bass was an eye opener. he played a solo I can best describe as Jimi Hendrix on bass.
I have the album Gimme Some Neck that Seven Days is on here in my record collection :)
