I don't recall fig trees having actual blooms; mostly I see tiny figs instead.
My daughter has Nanking Cherry trees. The cherries aren't quite as large as those shown in an online picture of your Goumi Berry Tree, but they make fantastic jelly.
That is the bloom they have to be pollinated for the fig to get ripe. I also have some Silverberry Bushes they bloom in the fall the berries are ripe now and are quite tart.
