Overcast here. Supposed to rain for next three days, up to 3 inches. I think they told us in school an inch of rain is the equivalent of 10 inches of snow. Thank the lord it is rain.

Good morning, Keith. Today we get 73° to Beeman's possible 80°! Morning hours will be a little wet, but that's OK. The next five days will help make up for last year's drought. I hope! We should get 2 to 5 inches of rain ...

Beeman you have any LSU fig trees ? Only fig tree I haven't killed and noticed it's full of blooms Then again one branch bloomed in December and I had three figs frozen for Christmas. Goomie berry tree is blooming but it's always early. Pecan trees haven't made any buds yet so still not sure if Spring is here ?

I don't recall fig trees having actual blooms; mostly I see tiny figs instead.

My daughter has Nanking Cherry trees. The cherries aren't quite as large as those shown in an online picture of your Goumi Berry Tree, but they make fantastic jelly.
