Working nights is rough, I've done it before, it takes it out of you.
What do they call the night shift over in the UK? Here we call it the graveyard shift.
Although some places have renamed it & don't allow you to call it that anymore because it sounds too ominous. It's not PC anymore.
Afternoon and morning all.
Overcast here. Supposed to be nice this week. We get warm weather ahead of Mike, almost 55F (13C) and no snow.
Started my Saturday chores. First load in the dryer when the most unholiest of noises started. Maybe I should just run it until it dies. Serviced call. Darling will not be happy.
Morning Ken
We have a washer but not a dryer. We just hang the clothes on a line in the washroom/storage room.
We do have a dryer, but.....it's one of the old gas powered ones. Used to belong to her grandmother. Not only is it a hazard, no one wants to buy it because of that. BUT...my Wife insisted we could run a gas line up to that room & we could run it. Well, putting in a gas line that long costs $$$$$ as she found out. It's been sitting idle for 8 + years taking up room.
