Wife had a minor crisis this morning. Kept hearing a rumble noise that went on and off, again and again, but no pattern. Prancing all over the house looking for it. I took her down in the basement, and said, "Hon, it's been raining hard for almost 24 hours, it's the sump pump doing it's thing." Manually turned it on and she said, "YES! That's it, that's it!". Crisis over...............

Yeah, we get some strange noises in this old house when it settles & whatnot. We just chalk it up to restless ghosts.
