Thanks Josey, Keith, Mike, Andre and TC for responding on Macrium. The consensus is full backups, manually initiated with verification on. This is the way I've done backups in the past... might experiment. Yes Andre like you I do data and OS backups separately.

Big games today. Hear Brady will play, like there was a doubt. See Mike is in a very happy mood singing "Dashing through the snow". I just hoping to be able to climb back into my NFL pool, behind the leaders by three points, near enough out of it.

Nice day here, wife and I are going to walk into town and back, 8km or 5miles. Crazy weather you guys in England are having. Is this much snow normal?

Morning Ken. I'm paranoid about backups due to some bad experiences at work.

So you are walking down the street and this person comes up to and says, hey can I upgrade your machine to Windows 10 and of course you say sure.

I have multi generations of full data and system backups. Monthly I create a data backup and swap it with the one in my safety deposit box.

I have reoccurring tasks loaded into Outlook calendar that go off and remind me when each is due.
