And the morning starts with a bang.

Got a robo call about suspicions charges on my Wife's credit card.

She called the number on the back of the card (not the one that they said to call, never call that one BTW) & yep, her cards been compromised. All taken care of, she gets a new card in a couple days.

    Afternoon kado.

Yeah, she seems to be, afraid to say anything yet in case I jinx it.

She had the chills/sweats, sore throat, a temp of 100 & body aches, it has gotten a bit better, or at least no worse (knock on wood). They're not as bad as they were on Friday, so maybe the flu shot is working in her case.
Tamiflu is a bit hit and miss. It works sometimes.

I'm not sure if it's the Tamiflu, the flu shot or a combination of both. I'm not up on the workings of Tamiflu, don't know if the benefits start immediately or if it's like AB's & takes 2 or 3 days to start working. I can't imagine it working immediately, maybe it does.

I know it's supposed to shorten the duration of the flu if taken within 24 - 48 hrs of getting it.

I think it's an anti viral so should start to work immediately.

I'll have to check that out. I'm just glad I got her to go to the ER (although doing so pretty much wore me out mentally )

Well, it's that time. I must be off to the gathering and then lunch with a good friend. You all have a great day/evening. Catch up later.

Afternoon morning all. See this thread never sleeps.

Thanks Josey, Keith, Mike, Andre and TC for responding on Macrium. The consensus is full backups, manually initiated with verification on. This is the way I've done backups in the past... might experiment. Yes Andre like you I do data and OS backups separately.

Big games today. Hear Brady will play, like there was a doubt. See Mike is in a very happy mood singing "Dashing through the snow". I just hoping to be able to climb back into my NFL pool, behind the leaders by three points, near enough out of it.

Glad wife is on the mend Borg.

    Mike how is Sammy's leg?

Nice day here, wife and I are going to walk into town and back, 8km or 5miles. Crazy weather you guys in England are having. Is this much snow normal?

    Bye Chuck, Tony and Borg.
